Helping planners find creativity and confidence in the way they plan

Tools, ideas, and inspiration to help you build your own planning style.

I’m always looking for the best way to manage what’s on my plate — without the pressure, guilt, or the 10-step morning routines. Imperfectly Planned is my way of sharing flexible, practical tools that support real life.

About the founder

Planning doesn’t have to be perfect to be powerful.

Simple tools for planners who want to feel confident, not overwhelmed.

Planning isn't supposed to stress you out. But sometimes you open your planner and suddenly the week feels heavier than before — like you're doing it wrong, or not enough, or not like the spreads you see online.

I started Imperfectly Planned because planning genuinely brings me joy. The stationery, the routine, the system of it. And I wanted a place to share what actually works — not the perfect version, the real one.

That means the tools I've made, and the ones I didn't — the planners, apps, and supplies that have become a real part of how I plan and why it works.

The goal is simple: help you feel confident in the way you plan. Not someone else's spread. Your system, your season of life, your pace.

The Imperfect Practice Kit — Printable Planning Pages
$17.00

You've started over in a new planner more times than you can count. You set it up, use it for two weeks, life happens, and the planner sits untouched. Then comes the guilt.

The Imperfect Practice Kit is a set of 7 printable planning pages built around one idea: you don't have to plan perfectly to plan well. Miss a week. Start in the middle of the month. Use two pages and skip the rest. That's not failure — that's just what real planning looks like.

What's inside:

The Practice Sheet — Your weekly anchor page. Brain dump, top 3 priorities, habit tracking, real-life logistics, and a two-line end-of-week reflection. Use this one every week.

The Monthly Brain Dump — A full open page to clear your head before you try to plan anything. Tasks, worries, ideas, things you keep forgetting. All of it, out of your head first.

The Monthly Focus — Three priorities, one thing to let go of, and overflow notes for the month. Use it right after the brain dump.

The Rhythm Planner — Four weeks of meals, errands, and logistics at a glance. Not a meal plan you have to follow — just a container for the real stuff so it stops living in your head.

The Project Plan — One project per page. Goal, tasks, deadline, blockers, and why it matters. For the project that keeps living rent-free in your brain.

The Quarterly Reset — An honest look back at what worked, what to drop, and what to carry into next quarter. No grade. Just a gentle step forward.

The Catch-All — A full dotted-grid page for everything that doesn't fit anywhere else. Lists, overflow, ideas, sketches, or nothing at all.

Works with any planner setup. Print and use loose, tuck into your planner pocket, store in a binder, or import into GoodNotes or Notability on your iPad. Designed with Laurel Denise users in mind — works alongside any LD planner.

What you'll receive:

Instant download ZIP file containing your 7-page printable kit + a how-to-print guide. US Letter size (8.5 × 11"), 300 DPI, print-ready PDF.

You'll receive a download link immediately after purchase. Nothing will be shipped.
